Information for Parents and Families

Each half term, the children at Reepham Church of England Primary School will focus on a Christian Value.
During the term, they will explore what this value means through stories, discussions, and activities in school. To build on this, we would love to strengthen links with families by encouraging everyone to explore these values together at home.

What are Home School Values?       

Home School Values are simple, enjoyable resources designed to:

• Strengthen links between school, home, and our wider community.
• Encourage families to share time together.
• Promote spiritual, moral, and personal development.

These are not homework tasks – they are meant to be fun, flexible, and thought-provoking activities you can enjoy as a family. Parents are encouraged to choose which parts best suit their children’s ages and interests.

What’s included in each Home School Values sheet?   

Each Value sheet is divided into several short, engaging sections:

• Talk About – A short introduction with questions to discuss together
• Read Together – A key Bible story linked to the value
• Words of Wisdom – A thoughtful saying to reflect upon
• Fascinating Facts – Interesting facts and figures to amaze and inspire
• Family Focus – A fun activity for everyone to join in with
• Home School Challenge – A creative project or craft idea
• Hall of Fame – A look at an inspirational person who has demonstrated the value

Exploring Home School Values at home is a wonderful way to:

• Spend quality time together as a family.
• Encourage discussion and reflection.
• Reinforce positive values in everyday life.
